LabFact welcomes new Chemistry Team members in Sussex

Sussex, UK – 30th November 2018

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Sussex welcomes new PhD students to the LabFact programme to join colleagues at Southampton, Caen, Rouen and Pareon Chemicals in the reagentless synthesis of chemical scaffolds.

From left to right (front), Mary Wong has embarked upon the mechanochemical synthesis of scaffolds for use in the production of organic conducting polymers, Sergi Ortoll is investigating the continuous flow production of natural product inspired compound libraries, Arathy Jose has been studying the microwave-assisted synthesis of fluorine-containing drug-like scaffolds and Hugo Emerit has started his studies on the mechanochemical synthesis of scaffolds for use in organic photovoltaic cells.  The LabFact partners all welcome the new Chemistry Team members!
