Heteroatom Chemistry

Many commercially available drugs and agrochemical compounds contain heteroatoms, especially sulfur, phosphorus and fluorine. It can be estimated that up to 50% of drugs contain these heteroatoms and their introduction is not trivial.  Labfact teams have a number of projects on the selective introduction of such heteroatoms by the creation of carbon-heteroatom bonds and from building-blocks.
